You've got questions, we've got answers
What is MS+ Mandarin Skin Plus® exactly?
It's a powdered 2:1 extract of Citrus reticulata pericarp based on the premium mandarin orange peel used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for diarrhea, bloating, gas and nausea
Compared to a conventional water extraction method, ours is patented and contains higher levels of citrus polyphenols, bioflavonoids and soluble dietary fiber (i.e.: pectin).
The veggie capsule is HPMC and it also includes minor amounts (<1% each) of plant-derived magnesium stearate, microcrytalline cellulose and silicon dioxide to prevent clumping and hardening of the powder.
Is this product right for me?
Yes... well, at least we certainly hope so. If you're reading this, chances are you're someone who has struggled with ongoing digestive issues, like diarrhea, bloating, gas and nausea. Other products you've tried may have helped only a little, or not at all.
Perhaps you've been told you have SIBO, an irritable bowel or a leaky gut.
You are looking for something natural to help you along your digestive health journey, not a synthetic quick fix like the dismal pink goo or chalky tummy tablets you find at the drug store.
If any of this discribes you, then you've come to the right place. You're among friends here.
How should I take the product?
You can swallow the capsule directly, or open the capsule and dissolve the powder in cold or hot water, and drinking it (see diagram below - HOW TO TAKE MS+). Stirs easily into hot water but needs to be shaken vigorously in a bottle if using cold water. Drinking it may be more effective if desired level is not achieved by swallowing the capsule. Best to take at times you will remember, like when you wake up or go to bed, or at mealtimes (breakfast & lunch, breakast & dinner or lunch & dinner).
I am sensitive to or I suspect that I am allergic to orange juice and/or citrus fruits. Can I still take this product?
YES! Normally it is the acidity of citrus juice and fruit that causes the sensitivity in people who consume them. You don't have that problem with the product as it is made from peel in an alkalinizing process - also contains antiinflammatory compounds that work to quell your food sensitivities.
Unless you have been diagnosed by an immunologist that you have a rare citrus allergy, you can go ahead and use the product with peace of mind.
What is the dosage?
We recommend starting with one capsule, twice daily. If after a few days you're not experiencing the results you want, try increasing to 3 capsules per day. Increase every few days until you achieve a desired result, maximum 6 capsules per day.
Is it safe to take this with my other medications?
Generally, yes it is safe. However, if you're required to take your other medications on an empty stomach, make sure to wait and take the product separately. If in doubt, talk to your health care provider.
Can I take this product with my other digestive supplements (probiotics, digestive enzymes, L-glutamine, etc.)?
Yes. Absolutely. If you're already seeing benefit from taking these other products then go ahead and add MS+ Mandarin Skin Plus® to your regimen. Our studies are suggesting that the product may work by a combination of unique antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and gut-repair mechanisms. Therefore, the product is likely to act synergistically with these to deliver maximum digestive benefits. See our Science section.
How do I know if the product is working?
For some people, the benefits are immediate and obvious from the first dose. For others, the changes could be more gradual. To track your progress, we recommend keeping a bowel movement journal. Each time you go 💩 rank it on a scale of 1-7 according the Bristol Stool Scale, where 1 is the most solid constipated pellets and 7 is entirely liquid diarrhea. Ideally you will move toward a type 3 or 4, resembling a smooth brown snake (see diagram below - HOW HEALTHY IS YOUR STOOL?). Changes over 8 weeks are not uncommon and may be explained by shifting of the gut microbiome. Don't give up.
Can I take this product long-term?
Yes. We have had customers consuming the product for years, continuing a maintenance dose of 1-2 capsules per day, or specifically during times of digestive distress.
We do recommend taking a short break after 8 weeks to assess how well the product is working and to consult your healthcare provider if ongoing digestive problems persist or if you experience any new symptoms

I just started taking the product and it seems that my symptoms are getting worse. What now?
This should only be temporary.
A small subset of customers have reported a slight worsening of symptoms after the first few doses. This seems to be related to the elevated stress and anxiety around taking any new digestive product - especially after taking so many other products that did not work.
It may take time to get acclimatised to the product.
We ask that you be persistent with regular doses. It may take 4-8 weeks to see full benefits and you'll be glad you stuck with the program.
If in doubt, consult your health care practioner.
Better as a capsule or liquid?
Many customers prefer the convenience of a capsule, while others feel better if they can taste the product in a liquid format. Send us a message and let us know your preference.
Is the product working?
We recommend logging your bowel movements in a journal according to the 7-point Bristol Stool Scale. Changes can be immediate or gradual, so hang in there.
